Honours, Masters and PhD projects are available in a number of key areas relating to sustainability, systems thinking and green chemistry. These are available in either the School of Life & Environmental Sciences, or the School of Education, Deakin University.

Research projects are available in the following areas:
1. Systems Thinking in Chemistry Education: curriculum topics at secondary and tertiary level amenable to ST approaches; development, testing and application of resources for these topics
2. Systems Thinking in Chemistry Education: use of systems maps to develop and demonstrate ST (collaboration with Andrew Eaton)
3. Activities for lower secondary students: development, testing and application of resources; impacts of activities on orientations to sustainability
4. Evolution of personal perspectives and orientations to sustainability of post-graduate students in a green chemistry centre (collaboration with ARC Training Centre for Green Chemistry in Manufacturing)
